1.34 Jake's Birthday

Advisory: Some adult scenes 

Kirsten burst into Jake's bedroom like she did every year on his birthday, "Happy birthday little brother." Jake sat up still tired and replied, "Morning sis." Jake wasn't one for celebrating his birthday but this birthday was different he had a girlfriend and he was hoping Kay had got him something. However he did love Kirsten's enthusiasm for his birthday since he could remember she'd always been like this. "Are we having our annual birthday breakfast?"

"Yes we are so get dressed." This birthday breakfast was always just the two of them regardless of who was in their life not even their parents were allowed on this outing. It was a way to catch up and air anything that was on their mind.

Jake got dressed and made his way to Kay's room. He knocked the door but there was no answer. Jake opened the door to find her room empty, he closed the door feeling a little upset she wasn't there so made his way to meet Kirsten. She was outside waiting for him and he asked, "Have you seen Kay?"

"Kay left for the hospital an hour ago for a class. She did say to tell you that she would see you after class. I did tell her that you are going out with Andrew and Matt."

"Kirst, I was thinking of spending time alone with Kay."

She didn't say anything as they made their way to a table for breakfast. "How are things between you and Kay?"

"Our second date was a disaster because of what happened at the engagement party, what a bad night."

"It wasn't that bad."

"Oh really sis. How was that?"

"Well you and Kay didn't argue. The bad vibe was Debbie causing trouble for Matt and Hazel and oh never mind."

Their food had arrived and Jake asked, "And what Sis?"

"Remember when you walked in the kitchen when Andrew and I were talking?" Jake looked at her as she continued, "Andrew proposed and I said yes." Jake was in shock, "When are you getting married?"

"We haven't set a date and I didn't tell you sooner because we wanted to keep it to ourselves for a little while, plus it was Matt's and Hazel's engagement."

"Set the date soon as I want to be an uncle." Kirsten pulled a face and said, "Slow down there. I didn't mention children."

"You can't lie to me. I know you want kids."

"Let me get married first." As she smiled at her brother, "You like Kay a lot I can tell. Could she be the one?

Jake sighed and replied, "All I know is I like spending time with her. I wish I could spend more time with her though. I hate her being at university only because I don't see her much."

"Jakey, it will work out in the end because it will mean you will both have good jobs."

Matt asked Andrew, "Where are we going tonight?"

"Lucky dive or we could go to the casino. What do you think?" Matt looked at him and replied, "Casino and I take it we will be buying birthday drinks?" 

Daniel walked in and asked, “Is it ok to come in and is Jake around?” Andrew ushered him in, “Jake’s out with Kirsten.”

“The birthday breakfast?” Andrew nodded and asked, “How are you doing?” Daniel didn’t say anything when Jake and Kirsten walked in. 

Kirsten hugged her Dad, “Are you ok?”

“I’ve been better.” After Kirsten released her Dad. 

He walked to Jake giving him a hug shocking everyone including Jake, “Happy birthday, son.” They walked outside and Jake asked, “Dad you look like crap.”

“Thanks, I miss your Mum.”

“Dad…” Daniel interrupted him, “I didn’t come here to talk about your Mum and me. It’s your birthday and I wanted to give you your present.” Jake didn’t want to press the issue about his parents not yet anyway so asked, “So where is my present?”  Daniel asked Jake to follow him and when they got to the car Jake said, “New car?”

“It’s your car, Jake. Your Mum and I agreed on the gift before we spilt.”

“But I don’t understand? I mean thanks.”

“We are so proud of you getting the job at the fire station we thought you deserved it.”

Jake was in shock, “I hit you…” Daniel interrupted him.

“I deserved it, I was mad at the time but you stuck up for what you believed in and for that I am proud of you.” Daniel asked Jake to drive them to a local park, when they got there Jake asked, “What are we doing here?”

“Do you remember when you were younger we used to play football?” Jake smiled and replied, “I remember the only difference is Mum and Kirsten aren’t here.”

“They used to come towards the end if you remember bringing drinks and snacks. I know it’s a bit different but you don’t mind playing for a while with me?”

“I wonder if you are as good as I remember.” 

Daniel smiled at his son and said, “Let’s see then.”

Kay saw Jake had finally got back as she watched him enter his room. She calmly knocked his door and walked in. Kay was upset when she saw Jake past out on his bed she tried to wake him but he was fast asleep. Kay made her way back to her room in tears. She had planned this night for two weeks, ready to give herself to him but instead all she got was a boyfriend who drank too much. 

Now the upset had turned to anger so she quickly got changed picked up the outfit that was going to be his gift and stormed down the hallway to Jake’s room. Kay opened the door threw the lingerie at him with his birthday card and left. Matt past her in the hallway and she gave him a stinking look. Matt just looked at the floor as he had made sure Jake was plastered. He was afraid of Kay getting hurt and thought if she slept with him that Jake would walk. It had occurred to him that maybe he had gone too far but hoped this meant Jake would show his real intentions towards Kay.

The alarm woke Jake at 7am and he was trying to hit the clock to stop the noise as his head was thumping but all he could feel was silk as he scrambled to hit the button. As he was opening his eyes he felt the silk material and his first thought was, ‘Please tell me Kay is lying next to me.’ Then he could smell Kay perfume as he pulled the material closer but when he looked over the bed was empty. Then he had flashbacks of last night. A texted had come early evening from Kay, ‘Happy Birthday, I hope you are having a good night with the boys. Don’t forget I have your birthday present here missing you, Kay xx.’ He had tried to make excuses to leave but the drinks kept coming. He remembers getting home with the boys almost falling downstairs then crashing out on the bed.

He heard a voice but he thought it was his dreams now he suddenly realised that it was Kay’s voice he heard and she must have been wearing this. ‘I have to sort this out and fast.’ Jake thought as he jumped out of bed getting dressed. He looked at the labels on the lingerie and decided to make it up to her. He ran up the stairs and saw Andrew, “Mate, what’s the rush?”

Jake ran past Andrew and shouted, “If you see Kay, please keep her here. Can’t explain in detail but I fucked up big time. Please just distract her.” He didn’t hear Andrew respond but Jake was on a mission. Jake had spent an hour at the lingerie shop looking for the perfect outfit to make it up to Kay as he now had her sizes. He ran down the stairs and knocked on her door.

Kay opened the door and asked bluntly, “Have a good birthday?”

“Kay, can I come in?”

“I’m busy packing my things as I’m on campus for two weeks.” Jake heard alarm bells when she said that and in a panicked but firm voice, “I thought you were coming home every night after classes?” He walked past Kay into her room, “Come in why don’t you.” 

Jake just looked at her, “I was but I changed my mind.”

“Look it wasn’t my idea to get drunk like that and…” trailing off and thinking fast, “I saw the lingerie you left very nice but I think it would look better on you.”

“It might have done but you’ll never know now, will you?”

Jake looked her in the eye and said, “I know you are mad but before you say anything else please accept this gift as an apology.” 

He handed her the gift and at first she looked suspicious at Jake but when she opened the gift and saw what was inside a smile crept across her face, “What’s the catch?”

“No catch, promise. I felt after seeing your gift to me and I’d ruined the surprise. I just needed to make it up to you.”

She hated that he only had to just look at her and she was starting to cave, “But it’s not your birthday anymore.”

He kissed her and replied, “I think it is because I haven’t got my final and most important birthday gift, you.” Kay nervously bit her lip thinking what they could be doing right now, “Well after you went to the trouble of buying this nice new gift, how can I say no? You will have to leave.”

“Why?”

“If it is still your birthday then I have to put the wrapping on too.” Jake was now in shock and as calmly as he could say, “See you in my room?” Kay just smiled at him and replied cheekily, “Are you still here?” Jake bolted from the room and waited patiently for his present to arrive.

Jake kept rubbing his hands with nerves. Something about this moment felt different and he couldn’t work out why. Normally when he pulled and had sex with a woman it was just that a raw and meaningless fling. The thought of Kay made him feel things that were new, his stomach was knotting itself and now to add to catalogue of feelings his palms were now sweating. ‘Great now all I need is to touch her with my sweat and she’ll run.’ As he thought this he quickly ran to the bathroom to wash his hands and try and calm down. He then heard, “Jake, are you in there?” He suddenly thought, ‘Shit she is at my door.’ 

He opened the door and calmly but softly said, “Wow you look…sexy as hell.” Kay stood in the doorway and asked, “Are you coming then?”

Jake’s face lit up as he walked towards his room and replied, “Give me time but if you look that good underneath I doubt the coming part will be a problem.” Kay rolled her eyes with a smile and cheekily replied, “I never meant it like that.” Jake closed the door behind him and with cheeky tone said, “But I did.” 

He wrapped his arms around her waist and whispered in her ear, “I’m really sorry about last night and if I knew what my gift was believe me when I say I would have come home sooner.”

Running her hand across his cheek said, “You are here now.”

Jake turned Kay around and softly kissed her back, he traced her back with his fingers making his way towards the zip on her dress. He slowly unzipped the dress and as the dress opened he began to kiss each part of her bare skin following the zip. Once he started to see the lingerie he continued to kiss the silk material, "Do you have any idea what you’re doing to me Jake?"

"I have a good idea." The dress fell to the floor and Jake glided his hands over each of her shoulders planting a kiss on each one. Kay bit her lip as she leaned into him. She began to lift her head up meeting Jake’s lips feeling the tender touch with every kiss. Jake then whispered in her ear, “Now can I see my gift?”

Kay nodded with a faint moan, she reluctantly pulled away from Jake to turn around, she stood in front of Jake slightly nervous at being looked at but at the same time the desire to have Jake was building, for them to be close. Jake admired his gift as she stood there, removing his top and throwing it to one side. 

He stepped closer and tilted her head up slightly by the chin and kissed her gently and stated, “I love my gift.” Kay put her arms around his waist and asked, “Are you going to remove your gift?”

Jake ran his hand through her hair as he said, “There is plenty of time for that. So what did you have in mind?"

"Anything, birthday boy." This was like a dream come true, no girl had said anything to sex before. Jake thought for a moment and decided to test that anything remark and if she said no then he would accept that. The thought of having Kay this way drove him crazy. He could feel his trousers suddenly getting too bursting point and these was only thoughts as he hadn't done anything yet.

 Then he pressed his finger to her lips and Kay’s mind started racing, ‘That chest of his is…oh crap I’m feeling his chest tense as my hand runs across it. I think I want him, I think I need him. This is crazy I’ve known him as my boyfriend for two weeks and I think I’m actually in love with him. Shit no it can’t be not him, if I tell him he’ll run. I must not say anything to him but please just take me now before I go out of my mind with desire for you.’

As Jake looked into her eyes his heart was melting and all he could think of was how much he loved her but how he couldn’t tell her, not yet anyway. Kay removed her panties and threw them at him with a smile. Kay turned her back on him asking, "Can you kiss my back again?" Jake started to kiss her back trailing his hands downwards. As he glided his hand underneath he felt how ready she was. The more he played Kay's body convulsed in excitement and a moan escaped her lips. He wrapped his other arm around her waist and with a gentle tug she fell to the floor resting her arms against the bed.

Jake unzipped his trousers and gently entered her from behind, anticipating to hear a no but there was none. Jake softly said, “I want you Kay.”

“I want you too.” Then Kay moaned and in a slightly heightened voice said, “Oh my...that's it." Kay began to scream louder in pleasure, "Faster." 

Jake couldn't believe this was happening and decided to go with it. He pushed harder and faster holding her tighter while stroking her breast. Kay slammed her hand on the bed, "This feels good." Jake leaned forward and kissed her cheek and whispered, "This is the best birthday gift, thanks."

Kay screamed louder as her pleasure intensified and after a few minutes she asked trying to keep her voice steady, “Are you going to remove the lingerie?”

Jake teased her cheekily, “We have time.” Kay slammed her hand on the bed again, “I can’t take much more…remove it now,” but Jake had never had a birthday like this and wasn’t about to give in so quickly. 

He pulled her onto the bed and flipped Kay around so she was facing him and holding her in place asked, “Why the rush?” She looked into his eyes and said, “I’m almost there and can’t take it anymore.”

“Kay your eyes are lying, now tell the truth or else.” Kay thought, ‘How can he tell I’m lying?’

“What do you mean?” 

Jake got up and zipped up his trousers and was about to walk away when Kay shouted, “Jake Decker you get your butt back here right now.” He turned back towards Kay and replied, “The truth, Kay.” He watched as she breathed in and out watching her chest go up and down and thought, ‘Shit Kay, come on tell me. You are driving me wild.’ 

She got up and jumped into his arms and started to kiss him, “Kay, tell me.” She again looked at him and said, “I was telling the truth before but I left out one part…” Then she became silent.

“Kay!”

“I love you.” 

Jake threw her onto the bed and removed his trousers and climbed on top of her, “What did you just say?”

“I love you.” He re-entered her and as he touched her breast she moaned in pleasure as she reached her climax, as Kay’s moans got louder Jake thought, “Shit she loves me, I mean really loves me but what do I say? I know I feel the same way but why can’t I say it? Shit I think I’m going to finish…No not yet I want more of her, I can pace myself…Umm no I can’t, Kay what have you done to me?’

After a few minutes Kay got up and Jake turned to her and asked, “Where are you going?”

Kay was frustrated that he hadn’t said I love you back but the way he had acted during their love making he had to feel the same way but she knew he needed time so she stood there and stripped of the lingerie and stood there for a moment. Jake didn’t know where to look. He had imagined many times what she would look like naked and as she climbed on top of him Jake held her but lost his balance as he was too close to the edge and they both fell to the floor. 

Jake asked if she was ok and Kay answered with a smile, “I’m fine. I can’t believe we did that.” Jake pulled Kay on top of him and looked into her green eyes and said, “I love you too, Kay.” Then they carried on making love for the rest of the day.
